Summer Camp Worry-free Enrollment

Life has been pretty unpredictable lately. That’s why Dream Enrichment makes summer camp planning a breeze, no matter what. With our worry-free enrollment, transfer and cancellation policies, you can sign up early and rest easy knowing there’s plenty of fun and innovation in store for your kids this summer—and plenty of flexibility for you in the meantime.

CAMP INSURANCE & REFUNDS

When registering for camp, I have two options:
1. Purchase Cancellation Insurance
2. Do not purchase Cancellation Insurance

If I purchase cancellation insurance:
This allows the camp registration to be canceled for any reason, 5 working days before the start of the camp, for a full refund of the tuition paid, less the cost of insurance.
Any cancellations done in the week prior to the camp will only be refunded if my child is unable to attend camp because of an illness, and supported by a doctor's note. I understand and accept that in the event of my child becoming ill, I may receive a gift credit of the program fee, less any discounts. To receive this credit, I understand that I must provide a doctor’s note to Dream Enrichment. The gift credit expires 15 months from the start date of the original program.

If I decide not to purchase cancellation insurance:
1. Withdrawing before June 1st : I receive a 75% credit to use towards future sessions. (Expires in 15 months)
2. Withdrawing after June 1st: Only transfers to available camps is an option. Transfer can be made anytime until 3 PM seven days before the start of your camp session, pending availability .

Transfer Policy

I understand and accept that there are no transfer fees when transferring to another Dream Enrichment camp with open space. Discounts will also be transferred as courtesy on any transfer. If there is a difference in price between the two programs, I understand that I must pay any cost difference between the program prices. If the new program is less expensive, a Dream Enrichment gift credit (expiring 15 months from the earliest program’s start date) will be issued. If Cancellation Insurance was purchased for this program, the gift credit may be processed as a refund instead. Cancellation Insurance will automatically be transferred to the new program registration; however Cancellation Insurance may not be added if it wasn’t on the original registration.

To receive this credit, I understand that I must provide a doctor’s note to Dream Enrichment. The gift credit expires 15 months from the start date of the original program. The pro-rated amount is calculated from the date the doctor’s note is received by Dream Enrichment.

Buyer’s Remorse

I understand and accept that I may alter my purchase of this program in any way within 24 hours of the original registration. This includes, but is not limited to, modifying, adding, or cancelling the program for any reason.

Minimum Enrollment

I understand and accept that Dream Enrichment requires a minimum number of participants to hold a class. In the rare event of insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be processed, and no cancellation fees will be imposed.

Class cancellation due to State and Local ordinances:

• If Dream Enrichment cancels due to state, county or school health orders or mandate, I will receive a 100% refund to the original payment method
• If Dream Enrichment cancels in the middle of a weekly session due to state, county or school health orders or mandates, I will receive a prorated credit based on the number of days canceled in that week that can be used anytime without expiration.

Summer-Camp Covid-19 Safety Plans

As we welcome campers and staff back to camp in 2021, safety is our top priority. Our comprehensive COVID-19 plan is designed to protect every member of the Dream Enrichment community in an on-site environment that minimizes risk and maximizes fun.
The standards below were created based on youth program requirements established by counties over the past year. We will continue to adapt our practices to match local mandates as they evolve and as we get closer to camp time.

1. CAMPER COHORTS

• Campers are grouped in stable cohorts of no more than 10 – 12 kids (depending on state guidelines)
• Each cohort is supervised by the same staff members throughout the camp time
• Cohorts stay separate from other cohorts both indoors (distanced from other cohorts by 10+ feet)
• Sharing of supplies will be limited as much as possible; any supplies shared within cohorts will be sanitized between each use

2. SAFETY TRAINING

• Staff will receive training regarding safety guidelines and expectations at camp
• Families will receive our final COVID guidelines (if any changes made) the week before camp starts
• Camps complete any state and county required safety planning, tools and/or certificates
• Camps post any state and county required signage

3. CAMPER AND STAFF SCREENING

• Campers and staff complete daily health screenings before being admitted to camp
• Campers and staff that present with symptoms of infectious illness during the day will be sent home and asked to consult with their healthcare provider to determine if COVID-19 testing is recommended

4. MASKING AND DISTANCING

• All campers and staff wear masks when at camp (except when eating or drinking); we provide extra masks for staff and campers as needed
• All individuals at camp maintain a minimum of six feet of social distance between them, except to provide developmentally appropriate support or supervision (for example, a staffer applying first aid, helping a young camper open a snack, etc.)

5. CONTACT REDUCTION

• Drop-off and pick-up will be arranged such that it is safe and socially distanced
• Campers bring their own snacks and lunch to camp
• We will take frequent breaks this year to get campers out as much as possible to play socially distanced Covid-safe games. This will help will decreasing the spread and creating opportunities that kids missed out on during this school year
• No camp invites—though of course we’ll have lots of COVID-safe traditions, ceremonies and games within cohorts
• No use of outdoor playground equipment

6. HANDWASHING AND SANITIZING

• Campers and staff practice frequent handwashing and hand sanitizing (before and after snack and lunch, between rotations, before and after using the restroom, after sneezing, etc.)
• We sanitize high-touch surfaces for indoor and outdoor classrooms between use by each cohort
• When supplies must be used by multiple cohorts, they will be disinfected between each cohort’s use

Returned Checks

I understand and accept that if Dream Enrichment receives a returned check from their bank for a payment I made, I will be invoiced for the original amount of the check plus a $25 returned check fee. The payment of the invoiced amount will be due immediately upon receipt. Dream Enrichment will not re-submit the original check, nor will they accept another check for the re-payment; a different form of payment must be submitted.

Discipline

I understand and accept that Dream Enrichment must be able to conduct their programs in a respectful environment. Participants may sometimes become excited, and that is completely normal. Waitlists

Some camp locations will experience a waitlist. The number one question we receive regarding our waitlist is, "Can you open just one more spot?" We would love for this to be a possibility! This would solve our WAITLIST challenge if we just expanded our camp. However, growing our camp size causes a couple issues that we are not comfortable with.
Equipment - We have enough equipment for everyone in camp. Unfortunately, we don’t have additional equipment for expanding our camp size.
Quality of Camp - The teacher-to-student ratio in our camps will be impacted if we expand our camps even for one additional camper because we are unfairly reducing the amount of time and attention we can give our students who signed up for camp well in advance.
The cost of placing yourself on the WAITLIST is free, but does not guarantee a space in the event an open camp slot becomes available.

A camp space can become available if another parent withdraws or transfers from camp. When that space becomes available, the entire WAITLIST is emailed simultaneously about the opening. We email everyone at the same time, and whomever registers for that camp first, gets it. It’s a free-for-all, so if you’re waiting for a camp opening, be sure to use an email address that you check regularly.
