Class Was in Full Swing!

K'NEX Swing

This week we used K’NEX to build a swing set! This project was a great way to introduce us to physics. We learned about kinetic energy and potential energy. Our swing sets turned out great!

This project included:

  • Collaborating with our partners on which K’Nex pieces are needed to build our swing sets.
  • Demonstrating kinetic energy and potential energy
  • Discussing what other playground structures demonstrate kinetic and potential energy

We were happy you were able to swing by! Stay tuned for next week’s transition from taking a swing at physics to making a splash with structural engineering!
